Norse South East awarded double ISO accreditation

May 2018

Norse South East has been awarded accreditation to the ISO14001:2015 and ISO 9001: 2015 standards.

Stephanie Evans, Environmental Manager at Norse Group said; “This Partnership is only two years old and to get both approved in one go is a great achievement. It brings Norse South East in line with ISO accreditations in Norse’s other local authority partnerships around the country.”

“With the current and projected growth across the whole Norse Group, the more we can adopt generic procedures the easier it is to guide management teams through the process for certification. Such procedures are also highly beneficial to Norse as these are the systems that drive the quality in our services,” she added.

Peter Vince, Operations Director at Norse South East commented; “More and more tenders for contract work now make quality assurance an essential element of potential suppliers’ proposals. Certification of these recognised international standards will endorse our credentials as a company committed to providing the very best service in all aspects of our operations.”

The process for gaining the three-year certification involves an independent audit, which is carried out by Lloyds Register. The audit looks for strong evidence to demonstrate that Norse are complying with all elements of the ISO standards’ requirements.
